About Us
The Dallas County Sheriff’s Association provides support for our association members and retired officers, as well as local residents and businesses owners.
As the longest-serving employee advocate association (founded by members of the Dallas County Sheriff's Department in 1971), we are dedicated to the rights and benefits of our members.
Our mission is to continually advocate for fair and equal treatment for all members and strive for benefits and compensation packages that are fair and competitive within our law enforcement community. We advocate for legislation from a local to federal level that enhances the ability of law enforcement personnel to protect the community and laws which protect law enforcement personnel from unfair employment practices.
Meet our board membersThe Dallas County Sheriff's Association is dedicated to advocating for fair and equal treatment of all its members.
We work to ensure that benefits and compensation are both equitable and competitive within the law enforcement community. Additionally, the DCSA supports legislation that strengthens law enforcement's ability to safeguard the community and protects officers from unjust employment practices.

We contribute to a variety of charitable organizations by volunteering our time and donating monetarily.
Community involvement is another pillar of our organization. Our supported charities include Concerns of Police Survivors, Dallas Assist the Officer, TMPA Charities, the Susan G. Komen Foundation, Sheriff’s Christmas in the Community, and Mothers Against Drunk Driving.
